The Pampered Pet Parade was started in approximately 2003 by the then Chairman Diane Heffner with Dave Heffner as MC. It is held at Stove Pipe Wells in the Parking Lot next to the swimming pool.
We encourage ALL pet owners to bring their pets – dressed in a costume to enter this fun event. The Pets seem to really know that they are in something very special and enjoy performing.
The costumes can be homemade or store bought – whatever you can put together and if you have a story to go with your Pet and/or the costume – be sure to plan on telling it – it always makes for more fun.
We always have great entertainment for the event – either Tom Leftwich, Rick Hartmaann or both!
All that is required is a PET (of course), plus Membership in the Death Valley 49ers. So come, bring your friends and enjoy. We have plenty of chairs for you to relax in.
